Abstract:
To prevent short circuit between wires.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a display circuit layer 12 laminated on a flexible substrate 10 in a first area A1 for displaying an image; a plurality of wires 74 extending from the first area A1 to a second direction D2, aligned in the first direction D1 so as not to be electrically connected to each other, and laminated on the flexible substrate 10 in a second area A2; and a first inorganic insulation film 28 laminated on the flexible substrate 10 under the plurality of wires 74. A base surface of the plurality of wires 74 includes, in the second area A2, a staircase part ST including a plurality of top surfaces 78 having heights different from each other and adjacent in the second direction D2 and a riser surface 80 rising from the plurality of top surfaces 78 other than an uppermost surface 78U. The first inorganic insulation film 28 composes at least the plurality of top surfaces 78 other than a most lower surface 78L and the riser surface 80. The adjacent wires 74 are separated from each other on the first inorganic insulation film 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
