Abstract:
To provide a display device with which, when having at least two types of index part, it is possible to switch the illuminating areas of a pointer in correspondence to the index part that gives an indication.SOLUTION: The display device includes a pointer and a display board. The pointer is constituted by arranging two light conductors in a laminate relation that are different in radially outward length centering on a rotation axis and respectively are illuminated. The display device includes a control part 50a for controlling the light guide of illumination light to the two light conductors and illuminating the pointers as a short hand relatively short in length and as a long hand that is long in length. The display board includes a power meter index part which is illuminated by illumination light as indicated by the short hand and a tachometer index part which is illuminated by illumination light as indicated by the long hand. The control part 50a includes a mode switching part 50a1 for switching a display mode between a power meter display mode based on a combination of the short hand and the power meter index part and a tachometer display mode based on a combination of the long hand and the tachometer index part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
