Abstract:
To provide a display device with a color filter comprising thin green pixels portions and blue pixel portions having chromaticity adjusted to a predetermined value.SOLUTION: An aspect of the present invention is a display device 1 comprising a light source 2, and a color filter 9 with red pixel portions 9a, green pixel portions 9b, and blue pixel portions 9c configured to convert color of light L from the light source 2. When the maximum intensity of light L in a 400-500 nm range is 1, an average relative intensity of the light L in a 480-490 nm range is 0.064 or less and an average relative intensity of the light L in a 380-440 nm range is 0.05 or greater. The blue pixel portions 9C contain a color material having an average transmittance of 60% or less in a 380-440 nm range, and the green pixel portions 9b contain yellow color material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
