Abstract:
To provide a display device capable of reduction in size and weight of a panel portion.SOLUTION: A display device 1 comprises: a panel portion 2 for display; a main body device 3 that is attached to a ceiling 9; a coupler 4 that couples the panel portion 2 and the main body device 3; and an irradiation portion 8 that irradiates the panel portion 2 with light. The main body device 3 includes: a long plate-like bottom plate portion 31; and a pair of side plate portions 32 and 33 that are extended from both end portions of the bottom plate portion 31 in a short side direction D2 and form a housing space 39 between itself the bottom plate portion 31. The coupler 4 includes: a fixed portion 5 that is fixed to a center portion of the bottom plate portion 31 in the short side direction D2; a support portion 6 that detachably supports an upper end portion 25 of the panel portion 2 with the housing space 39; and a wire 7 that is interposed between the fixed portion 5 and the support portion 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
