Abstract:
To display a peripheral image around a movable body and guide display in a superimposed manner and allow a user to easily understand the guide display to which attention should be paid.SOLUTION: A display device mounted on a movable body comprises: a peripheral image acquisition unit which acquires a peripheral image 60 of a movable body; an external field recognition unit which recognizes an object located in the periphery of the movable body; a distance acquisition unit which acquires a distance between the object and the movable body; a composite image generation unit which generates guide display 65 for notifying the existence of the object for each object and generates a composite image 70 by combining the guide display at a position corresponding to the object recognized by the external field recognition unit; and an image display unit which displays the composite image. The composite image generation unit increases the visibility of the guide display as the distance between the object guided by the guide display and the movable body gets smaller and combines it to the peripheral image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
