Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to give an instruction to take out an optional part from a video signal of a personal computer and to display it only by a picture signal in real time.
CONSTITUTION: When a pattern detection part 114 inputs a vertical synchronizing pattern, the pattern detection part recognizes the first m-dots data following the vertical synchronizing pattern as a command pattern data decodes the pattern, but when the pattern detection part recognizes the m-dots data as a video signal write instruction, it searches the next horizontal synchronizing pattern and instructs a memory control part 115 to sequentially write n-lines of data for the m-dots data DP1-DPn into a video memory 116. Similarly, when a decoded result of a command pattern is display, the pattern detection part 114 instructs a display control part 117 to read out the contents of the video memory 116 and supply them to a display part 118, and starts display operation.
