Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily connect a signal with a different horizontal scanning frequency and to reduce the number of input terminals in the display device having input terminals receiving at least two different horizontal scanning frequency signals.
CONSTITUTION: A single density system signal and a double density system signal are connected in common to an input terminal 10. The single density system signal and the double density system signal are given selectively to a single density system signal processing circuit 5 and a double density system signal processing circuit 6 by a switch 11. A synchronizing separator circuit 13 separates a synchronizing signal from the signal given to the input terminal 10 and an fV conversion circuit 14 converts a horizontal scanning frequency into a voltage. A frequency discrimination circuit 15 detects the horizontal scanning frequency and stores it on an input table 16. A control circuit 17 selects switches 11, 7 depending on the horizontal scanning frequency stored in the input table 16.
