Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly prevent an output transistor(TR) from being destroyed, resulting from an excess current which flows into the TR on the occurrence of abnormity such as an in-tube discharge of a cathode-ray tube.
SOLUTION: A resistor 90 is connected between a source terminal of an FET used for an output TR 2 and a ground. At the occurrence of abnormity of the display device such as an in-tube discharge of a cathode-ray tube, a source level of the FET rises by the resistor 90 and a gate level of the FET also increases attended therewith, then a voltage limiting means 91 provided to the display device suppresses the gate level to be less than a prescribed level.
