To provide a display device capable of imparting a stereoscopic effect and a sense of depth to a display image with small size and also capable of enhancing a design effect.
The display device comprises: first displays 4, 5, and 9 for displaying the first displaying images 41, 51, and 91a; a second display 12 for forming second displaying images d1, and d2; a transmission and reflection member 13 which is disposed between the first and the second displays 4, 5, 9, and 12, and transmits the first displaying images 41, 51, and 91a to an observer ob, and reflects the second displaying images d2 on the observer, thereby the first and the second displaying images 41, 51, 91a, d1, and d2 are composited and displayed; and a surface cover 14 provided on the observer's side of the transmission and reflection member 13, wherein the transmission and reflection member 13 directly reflects the second displaying image d1 from the second display 12 on the observer ob and also oppositely arranged to the surface cover 14 so as to reflect the second displaying image d2 from the second display 12 on the observer ob.
