Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thinner display device capable of naked eye stereoscopic vision by having an input function through touch detection, in which the deterioration of optical characteristics is suppressed.SOLUTION: A parallax barrier panel 38 includes a first substrate 40, a second substrate 42, a first electrode pattern 54, a second electrode pattern 60, and liquid crystal 44. A touch panel 64 includes the second substrate 42, the second electrode pattern 60, and a third electrode pattern 68. A parallax barrier driving circuit 62 applies driving voltage for the liquid crystal 44 between the first electrode pattern 54 and the second electrode pattern 60 so that the liquid crystal 44 forms a parallax barrier. A touch panel driving circuit 70 inputs a sensing signal SS to the second electrode pattern 60. A touch input detection circuit 72 measures an output signal generated in the third electrode pattern 68 with the sensing signal SS through electrostatic induction, and detects whether the touch input is made or not depending on the change in the output signal caused by the change in electrostatic capacitance.
