PURPOSE: To eliminate the need to input movement position information at each time by using a mouse, a joy stick, etc., by storing a movement route on large screen data in advance and moving the display screen of a display unit automatically along the movement route.

CONSTITUTION: The name of the movement route is specified by a movement data call device 10 and respective coordinates indicating the movement route 4 in a movement data storage device are read in a movement data holding device 11. Then when the movement indication data on the moving direction, moving speed, etc., are inputted on a screen movement indication device 12 composed of a keyboard, etc., the respective coordinates are inputted to a data editing and transfer device 6 according to the movement indication data. Consequently, an image which is moved (scrolled) in the specified direction and at the specified speed along a railroad is displayed on a display unit 5. Consequently, an operator only inputs the moving direction and moving speed to move the screen data 7 displayed on the display unit 5 automatically along the movement route 4.
