PURPOSE: To enable mass production by restraining an increase in the data transmitting line number by an increase in the bit number and an increase in the input terminal number in a driving part.
CONSTITUTION: When data is respectively transferred to upper and lower driving units 25 and 27 from a control circuit 23 respectively through transmitting lines 28 and 29, though the transmitting lines are required with every bit of plural bits of image data, the image data composed of the plural bits is divided into groups of superordinate bits and subordinate bits, and time seried data obtained by converting divided bit data into time series is transmitted with every group, so that data on the superordinate bits and the subordinate bits is respectively transmitted by the same transmitting lines 28 and 29. Thereby, the data transmitting line number can be reduced, and an increase in the input terminal number in a driving part can be restrained, so that a mass production hindering factor caused when a terminal interval is narrowed by an increase in the input terminal number can be also eliminated.
