Abstract:
To provide a display element seal material having flexibility, moisture resistance, and room-temperature curability and being capable of sealing even in the case of e.g. a display element in which one of the substrates is a plastic, and the other is glass or an epoxy resin laminate.
The display element seal material is a room-temperature-curable one mainly consisting of an epoxy resin, an amine, a mercaptan, a silane coupling agent, and a filler, wherein the epoxy resin comprises 30-100 pts.wt. polysulfide-modified epoxy resin. A display element sealed with the seal material is also provided.
