Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a display element having functions displaying and discriminating not only a character but also the base color of the display element and capable of being simply formed on the spot.

CONSTITUTION: A display element is obtained by thermally transferring the image having a different color on the colored surface of a colored transfer receiving material using a thermal transfer recording medium and the reflection density of the colored surface of the transfer receiving material is 70% or less with respect to that of the image.
