PURPOSE: To remove bad influence to visibility due to surface reflection at a display surface, by arranging an angle of the display surface with an eye line to not less than a prescribed value.
CONSTITUTION: The display surface of a liquid crystal display instrument panel 10 is tilted an angle of from the line crossing at a right angle with an eye line 9, and this angle of is set in such a manner that a reflected beam, at the lower end of a necessary display part of the display surface of the light beams emitted from the point end of a hood 6 goes past by the upper side of an eye spot area 8. An optical system of the liquid crystal display instrument panel 10 is at least constituted such that an illuminating surface light source, liquid crystal display element and front protective panel are at least almost parallelly placed, and a surface of the front protective panel or at least one side of the liquid crystal display element is sometimes applied nonglare treatment.
