The display method includes a step of starting processing of revising a size of image data in an image processing section 12 when an instruction of revising the size of the image data and displaying the revised image data is received; a step of sequentially stepwise revising the size of the image data and displaying the image data, according to the revision processing different from the revision processing above, according to the VSC16-1 while carrying out the processing of revising the size of the image data; and a step of replacing the image data whose size is revised and displayed by the VSC16-1 with the image data, whose size is revised by the image processing section 12 and displaying the replaced image data, when the size revision processing by the image processing section 12 is completed.
