Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enlarge the photographic area of a full automatic camera by urging the use of a stroboscope, when a value is out of an interlocking range of an automatic focusing (AF) device as long as it belongs to an area in which the deficiency of the depth of focus can be compensated by usign a stroboscope.

CONSTITUTION: From a stroboscope control circuit 21, a signal the inverse of S7 for showing that a preparation for stroboscope photographing is not executed yet is inputted to a first display control circuit 23, and also, from an AF control circuit 17, a signal S4 for showing that the result of distance measurement belongs to a first area being out of an interlocking range is inputted to the circuit 23. In such case, a camera rocking warning mark 10 is flickered, irrespective of the output signal of an automatic exposure control circuit 20. Also, when a signal which is applied to a second display control circuit 25 from the circuit 17 is the signal S3 of a value belonging to a second area being out of the interlocking range of AF, a distance measuring mark 11 is flickered, irrespective of the output signals of the circuits 20, 21. In such way, in case of being out of the interlocking range of AF, the deficiency of the depth of focus can be compensated using a stroboscope, and the photographic area of a full automatic camera can be enlarged.
