PURPOSE: To display a coordinate which precisely reflects the change of the input coordinate even if it is fine by displaying the display size of an input coordinate value or the form of a cursor on a screen by changing it based on the shift amount of the coordinate per prescribed time interval.

CONSTITUTION: When the coordinate is inputted by using the mouse 1, an input processing is executed by a coordinate input part 2, and input data is transmitted to a coordinate system conversion part 3. The coordinate system conversion part 3 executes coordinate conversion to a coordinate system which the device adopts, and transmits data of the obtained coordinate value to an application processing part 4 and a coordinate shift amount analysis part 5. The coordinate shift amount analysis part 5 obtains coordinate data and time from a timer 6 and obtains the coordinate value shift amount per unit time. The display size of the input coordinate value or the form of the cursor indicating the position of the screen, which corresponds to the input coordinate value, are changed based on the shift amount and the device operates to display the input coordinate value or the cursor on the screen.
