Abstract:
To provide a display device including a wide display area in which joints are hardly visible.SOLUTION: The display device includes two display panels overlapping each other. An upper display panel has a first display area and an area transmitting visible light. A lower display panel has a second display area and an area blocking the visible light. The second display area overlaps the area transmitting the visible light on a surface for displaying. The area blocking the visible light overlaps the first display area. The lower display panel has a third display area between the second display area and the area blocking the visible light. A gate signal and a source signal supplied to a first pixel included in the third display area is equal to a gate signal and a source signal supplied to a second pixel included in the second display area. The second pixel is nearest to the first pixel among the pixels included in the second display area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
