This display plate has a base plate 1 covered with a translucent cover 2, and has a pile of two or more sheets having a translucent or shading property and displaying characters, patterns, or colors laid between these base plate 1 and translucent cover 2, and is constituted so that a lower side sheet can be seen through from an upper side sheet. Moreover, on the above translucent sheet, the characters, patterns, or the like may be printed or pasted.
