A plurality of display devices for displaying the data stored in an IC chip are provided on an IC card housing surface. By providing a switching button corresponding to each display device, it becomes possible to display contents stored in the IC chip in response to a usage state of the IC card. By registering items displayed on the plurality of the display devices with linkage of the items as one pattern, and by displaying necessary items on each display with switching of patterns registered in response to the usage state of the IC card, trouble and time to switch the display items can be reduced.
