Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a cross hair cursor from being made inconspicuous by buring in a display screen and not decided, and to easily decide the cursor by inverting the periphery of the cursor or fringing it in a difference color. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 sends out signals of display coordinates X and Y of the cursor to a cursor segment generator 2. The cursor segment generator 2 generates segments displaying the cursor at the X and Y and generate upper and lower, and right and left segments of them, i.e. at coordinates X+1 and X-1, and Y+1 and Y-1 or their plural lines in the inverted state of the cursor. Consequently, the cross hair cursor is displayed in a belt like shape whose periphery is encircled. Then, the generated signal of the shape is passed through a frame memory 3 and a signal converting circuit 4 which converts the output of the frame memory from analog to digital into a signal to a display 5, thereby displaying the cursor on the display 5.
