Abstract:

To provide a display system for automatically displaying the whole print region on one picture, and for enabling a user to easily obtain the image of a print result or the error of layout setting.

The display system is configured to decide whether or not it is possible to display the whole print region on preview display based on the width of roll paper and the vertical length of a print region, and to calculate magnification required for displaying the whole print region on the preview display, and to, when it is not possible to display the whole print region, perform the preview display of a roll paper image and a print region based on the calculated magnification.
