Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for displaying a system status in a history control wherein a system status displaying capability has been improved, in a monitoring system which stores a system status screen at a time when the system status changes as one of the information about the system status and controls the history of the system status.
SOLUTION: When a basic system diagram is prepared, a movement of each symbol and a link between each symbol and status information are defined and stored in a form of data. When a change in status occurs, the change in status is reflected in the status information and then information about the definitions of a movement and a link between a symbol and the status information are obtained for one symbol after another from the basic system diagram based on the status information. After the system status is edited according to this information, the edited system status is stored in a system diagram file with a history number. When displaying a system status, a system diagram file with a history number which has been stored when history information was selected is displayed.
