To solve a monotone felt by a driver at the time when driving a car in a tunnel or a place where sound-insulation walls are installed, by efficiently making use of solar cells and sound-insulation panels.
This display system is constituted of sound-insulation walls 4 erected at the sides of a highway 10 and a display device 6 installed on the wall of a tunnel 9. The sound-insulation walls 4 are constituted of columns 4a made of H-shaped steel members and erected at every specified distance of the side of the highway 10, and frames 4b supported by the columns 4a. Sound-insulation panels 8 assembled with solar cell panels as a unit are fixed to respective rectangular spaces 4c defined by the frames 4b. The display device 6 is constituted of a luminous part 6a forming figures and letters and a controller thereof. These are actuated by the electric power supplied from the amorphous solar cell panels constituting the sound-insulation panel assembled with solar cells as a unit and the display system indicates various images on the walls in the tunnel 9.
