To enable display excellent in display effect in a simple constitution without limiting the number of display units and an arranging area as the whole system, by conducting display operation while communicating control signals among plural display units.

This unit is integrally provided inside a prescribed case 18 with a means for generating a display signal corresponding to a prescribed condition, a display mean 2 for carrying out prescribed display operation interlocking with the display signal, and a transmitting means 4 for outputting a control signal 50 interlocking with the display signal. The signal generating means is constituted as a receiving means 6 for outputting the display signal interlocking with a signal input, and an output of the display signal is conditioned on input of the control signal 50. Plural display units 10 are provided as a display system, the transmitting means 4 in the respective display units 10 and the receiving means 6 are arranged, for example arranged facingly, to communicate the control signals 50 each other, and display timing for the display means 2 in each unit 10 is controlled through the communicated control signal 50.
