Abstract:

To provide a display capable of executing automatically contour enhancement processing for emphasizing a contour part of an image, in response to a size of a display area, when displaying the image in each of divided display areas by dividing a display screen into the plurality of display areas.

A contour enhancement processing control part 13b changes a shoot value of a brightness signal, based on information concerned in the size of the divided display area output from a plurality-of-screen display control part 13a, and based on a correction factor table 51 recorded in a ROM 14.
