To provide a display which can make different displays for real image and virtual image in a simple configuration.

The laser beam from the laser 10 runs as shown by the solid and dashed lines to display different information respectively. More specifically, part of the laser beam is reflected on the screen 20 and recognized as a real image by a user, but the other part not reflected on the screen 20 passes through it. However, the laser beam shown by the solid line is blocked by the shading plate 30. On the other hand, the laser beam shown by the dashed line is not blocked by the shading plate 30 and reaches the windshield 40. The laser beam reaching the windshield 40 is reflected, reaches the eyes of the user, and recognized as a virtual image, thereby satisfying the HUD function. That is, the laser beam expressed by the solid and dashed lines is displayed on the screen 20, but the laser beam expressed by the dashed line is only displayed in the HUD.
