Abstract:
To provide a display including a light guide plate that has a smaller number of components and is easily manufactured.SOLUTION: A display 1 comprises: a light guide plate 12; a light source unit 11 that projects light on a light incident surface 12a of the light guide plate; an LCD panel 13 that is arranged at a position opposite to a light emission surface 12c of the light guide plate; and a bonding layer 14 that bonds the light guide plate 12 with the LCD panel 13. The light guide plate 12 includes a main body part 121, and a surface function layer 125 that is formed on a surface opposite to the light emission surface 12c, has a lower refractive index than that of the main body part 121, and has a concavo-convex shape 126 on its surface. The light emission surface 12c is provided with a concavo-convex part 122 on which convex parts 123 are arranged at a predetermined interval from the light incident surface 12a toward an opposite surface 12b. The dimension of the convex part 123 in the thickness direction of the light guide plate 12 is 0.1 μm or more and 3.0 μm or less. A difference in refractive index between the main body part 121 and the bonding layer 14 is 0.05 or more and 0.20 or less. At least part of light incident from the light incident surface 12a on the interface between the main body part 121 and the surface function layer 125 is totally reflected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
