To provide a displaying device capable of displaying whether a stored material stored in a container has a history placed under low and high temperatures in a visually distinguishable way in consideration that some of foods, cosmetics, drugs, chemicals, etc., deteriorate when frozen or placed under high temperatures, and sometimes deteriorate into hazardous substances or generate hazardous substances.
This displaying device of a history of exposure to excessive coolness comprises an expansive body 1 which expands at or under a predetermined temperature and a container 2 in which the expansive body 1 is sealed in, and which partially expands by the expansion of the sealed-in expansive body 1, and has a gap occur in the vicinity of the partial expansion of the container 1. When temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature after the expansive body 1 sealed in the container 2 expands at or under the predetermined temperature and a gap 5 occurs in the vicinity of the expanding container 1, the expansive body 1 leaks through the gap 5 to leave a trace indicating the history of exposure to excessive coolness.
