An operating plate 36 integrally formed with an operation unit 15 is freely movably guided by a guide plate 37 between a first operative position where the plate is set at a daylight synchro-flash photographing mode, a second operative position where the plate is moved upward from the first operative position and is set at the daylight synchro-flash photographing mode, and a third operative position where the plate is moved leftward from the first operative position and is set at nighttime synchro-flash photographing mode. Also, the rear surface of the operating plate 36 is provided with switch pressing pieces 40a and 40b. When these pieces are set at the second and third operative positions, the pieces press an elastic contact piece and brings the same into contact with a stationary contact piece 46, thereby turning on a charging switch of a strobe unit 24. Switching of diaphragms and switching of shutter speeds are performed by a locking hole 38a of the operating plate 36.
