Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement support appliance which facilitates replacement of a disposable diaper while a care receiver lies on his or her back, applying no burden onto a care giver nor the care receiver.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper replacement support appliance 1 is capable of fixing and placing an opened tape-type disposable diaper onto a flexible plate-like body 11 by using slits 12 to 14 and an engaging hole 15. While a care receiver lies on his or her back, the plate-like body 11 with the disposable diaper fixed and placed thereon can be slid and inserted between the care receiver and a mat from the lateral back part of a position where the back bodice of the disposable diaper is to be applied, while the plate-like body 11 is curved along the body shape of the care receiver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
