In this developing type disposable diaper, the disposable diaper has a liquid permeable top sheet 2, a liquid impermeable and air permeable back sheet 3 and the absorbers 4 arranged between both sheets and fastening tapes 8 equipped with hook materials of mechanical fasteners are arranged to both side edge parts of either one of the front and back bodies 5 and 6 while the front sheet which can be locked with the fastening tapes is arranged to the surface on the side of the back sheet of the other one of the front and back bodies. The moisture permeability measured according to the conditions shown in JIS Z 0208 at the superposed part of the front and back sheets of the region where the front sheet is arranged is 2,500 g/m2×24 hr or above.
