Abstract:

A disposable diaper (10) comprising: an absorbent body (40) having an absorbent core; a pair of fastening tapes (90); a waist expansion/contraction sheet having expansion/contraction properties in the product width direction; and a waist holding section that holds the disposable diaper on to the body of a wearer. The waist expansion/contraction sheet has: a rear-side waist expansion/contraction sheet (85) arranged in the rear waist area; and a front-side waist expansion/contraction sheet (86) arranged in the front-side end section in the front waist area. Some of the rear-side waist expansion/contraction sheet is arranged overlapping the rear-side end section of the absorbent core and is arranged overlapping the waist holding section. The front-side waist expansion/contraction sheet is arranged adjacent to the front-side end section of the absorbent core.
