Abstract:
A diaper (1) comprising an absorbent main body (10), a posterior-side waist section (20), and a stomach-side waist section (30). Both end sections (200) of the posterior-side waist section (20), in the horizontal direction, and both end sections (300) of the stomach-side waist section (30), in the horizontal direction, are joined, respectively. A cut section (40) is provided in a center section of the stomach-side waist section (30) in the horizontal direction, at an upper end section (34a) of the stomach-side waist section (30) in the vertical direction. The diaper has an overlapping section (35), further on the upper side than the lower end (402) of the cut section (40) of the stomach-side waist section (30) in the vertical direction, said overlapped section having a greater number of laminated sheets than a lower end section (34b) of the stomach-side waist section (30) in the vertical direction.
