To provide a pants type diaper in which the opening/closing operations of an anterior abdominal part are facilitated, while the pants type diaper in which the extension part of the crotch is attachable to and detachable from the front abdominal part and the anterior abdominal part can be opened and closed to the left and right is provided conventionally.
The anterior abdominal part 51 of the pants type diaper 10 can be separated into left and right members 39 and 38. A first tab member 11 is attached to the separation end part of the right member 38 and a second tab member 12 is attached to the separation part of the left member 39. The first and second tab members 11 and 12 (tab unit 41) are slightly hard and are made easy to hold, and thus the opening/closing operations of the left and right members 45 and 46 are facilitated.
