Title:
DISPOSABLE TOILET FOR BEDRIDDEN PATIENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1128233
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable a cord or the like used in wiping off dirt and feces to be easily disposed of by preventing feces from leaking toward the back of a bedridden patient during evacuation.

A disposable toilet for a bedridden patient has a mouth-shaped cushion 3 provided with cuts 2 in advance and bonded to the underside of a rectangular waterproof sheet 1, and has a water absorber 4 mounted therein, with a gore 5 provided around the waterproof sheet 1 to pass a cord 6 through the gore 5. Because of such a structure, the disposable toilet for a bedridden patient is laid below the hip of a bedridden patient for evacuation. In this case, since the waist of the patient is cushioned and water is absorbed by the water absorber, feces do not leak toward the back even if soft or viscous. After evacuation, dirt is removed with wet tissue, etc., the disposable toilet is taken out, and the cord 6 is pulled; since the cushion has the cuts 2, the sheet can be folded easily and disposed of in a sanitary way.
