Abstract:

To provide a cheap and disposable spin-on fluid filter.

A disposable type spin-on fluid filter 20 is constituted and arranged so as to mount on a base part provided with a mounting shaft for screw formation 19. The base part is provided with a fluid inlet stream to the filter and a fluid outlet passage from the filter. The filter is comprised of a housing canister 21 having a closed end 22 and an open end 23 opposite to the closed end and a fluid filter medium 25 arranged in the housing canister. A mounting post 30 is formed as a part of the first closed end of the housing canister and is constituted and arranged so as to assemble to the mounting shaft for screw formation on the base part. This design is aimed not to use nut plates and to rearrange the position where the fluid filter is connected to the head part to the closed end of the canister.
