PURPOSE: To fabricate a disposal device for paper sheets and the like in a small size and at a low cost by arranging a separating section commonly acting between multiple accommodation sections, thereby separating paper money when paying and, when receiving paper money, arranging a space and accommodating and separating the received paper money.
CONSTITUTION: In a 1st accommodation section 1 and a 2nd accommodation section 3 are accommodated respectively 1,000 Yen paper money 2 and 1,000 Yen paper money 4 for payment. In payment, firstly the 10,000 Yen paper money 4 accommodated in the 2nd accommodated section 3 are separated one by one and then the 1,000 Yen paper money 2 accommodated in the 1st accommodation section are separated, and respectively transferred to a receiving port. When receiving money, the 10,000 Yen paper money 4 descends to be released from the contact with a send-out roller 6 and at the same time the 1,000 Yen paper money 2 is lifted so that a wide space 38 is formed where received paper money is accommodated. After that, received paper money 39 is separated one by one and transferring to a safe by the drive of the send-out roller 6 and a transfer roller 8.
