To provide a disposal method for an organic waste contributing to a circulation type society in which an uncomfortable fermentation odor generated during fermentation treatment is not discharged outside and the organic waste is efficiently converted to a fertilizer and a livestock feed with a uniform and good quality, and its treatment apparatus.
In the disposal method for organic waste, fermentation fungi and a moisture conditioning material are mixed to the organic waste to form an article to be treated and while the fermentation and drying of the article to be treated are promoted by stirring the article to be treated such that the fermentation fungi in the article to be treated are uniformly distributed and simultaneously feeding dried hot air to the article to be treated, the article to be treated is converted to the fertilizer and the livestock feed. The dried hot air is fed to the article to be treated and absorbs the moisture of the article to be treated to become wet hot air. The hot air is again heated to make dried hot air without discharging to the outside and is again fed to the article to be treated. The feeding of the dried hot air to the article to be treated is repeatedly carried out while the dried hot air is circulated. Thereby, the fermentation and the drying of the article to be treated are treated.
