CONSTITUTION: An optical transmission equipment 11 which sends the light intensity signal obtained by direct modulation of semiconductor laser light 11 of the single mode to optical fibers 40, 41, 42, and 43, optical amplifiers 13, 331, 332, and 333 which control the sending powers of the light intensity signal to optical fibers 40, 41, 42, and 43, and an optical reception equipment 2 which is connected to the optical transmission equipment 1 through optical fibers 40, 41, 42 and 43 and receives the light intensity signal are provided.
