Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electric current in spot-welding time from flowing to a light alloy material, by preventing an insulation layer formed in a rivet from tearing off when driving the rivet in the light alloy material, in a dissimilar joint body molded by forging processing up to a product shape from a raw material and using a steel dissimilar material joining rivet on which the insulation layer (a coating film of higher resistance than a steel material) is formed on a surface.SOLUTION: A dissimilar material joint body is composed of a light alloy material 22, a steel dissimilar material joining forging rivet 1 caulked-joined to the light alloy material 22 and a steel material 25 overlapped with the light alloy material 2. The dissimilar material jointing rivet 1 is composed of a plate-like head part and a shaft part, and the shaft part is composed of a first shaft part, an annular projection part formed in a tip part of the first shaft part and a second shaft part 6 smaller in the cross-sectional area than the first shaft part and further extending in the tip direction from the projection part. An insulation layer is formed on a surface (a surface for contacting with the light alloy material) of the shaft part and the head part. A shaft part of the rivet 1 and the steel material 25 are spot-welded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
