To provide a dissolving apparatus that eliminates the need for an electric circuit, and is compact and has a low running cost, and further has an improved usability.
The dissolving apparatus 16 includes a storage means 12 for storing an inorganic compound 11, which is a powdery or granular compound, or a mixture of the powdery and granular compound. The apparatus is configured to supply water, which is obtained by dissolving the inorganic compound 11 in the storage means 12, to a hot water supply terminal. Accordingly, the apparatus can supply hot water obtained by dissolving the inorganic compound 11 to the hot water supply terminal at the same time when supplying the hot water from the hot water terminal. Thereby the dissolving apparatus can be provided which is compact and has the low running cost, and which has the improved usability.
