To provide a distal end protection cap of an endoscope, capable of being thoroughly cleaned by the brush-cleaning to scrape off bacteria by moving a cleaning brush forward/backward in the axial direction.

In the distal end protection cap of the endoscope, an insertion part inserting inner tube 11 and a protection outer tube 12 are integrally formed of an elastic material on the whole and are connected to each other with a connection wall 18 on an insertion part port 11o side of the insertion part inserting inner tube 11 only. An insertion part distal end 1a is engaged with the insertion part inserting inner tube 11 in the inserted state, and the protection outer tube 12 is disposed in the state to surround the insertion part inserting inner tube 11 with a space 13 to the insertion part inserting inner tube 11 in the radial direction. A brush inserting window 21, into which the cleaning brush 100 can be inserted in the direction along the inner wall surface 18i of the connection wall 18 from outside, is formed near the boundary region between the protection outer tube 12 and the connection wall 18, so that the inner wall surface 18i of the connection wall 18 can be cleaned on the side face of the cleaning brush 100.
