Title:
DISTANCE CORRECTION FACTOR AUTOMATIC CORRECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3126751
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To constantly obtain correct receiving point moving distance and reduce the burden of a user by correcting a distance correction factor on the basis of speed data obtained from a GPS position measuring means.
CONSTITUTION: When the data from a GPS position measuring means 1 satisfies the specified condition, a distance correction factor K is corrected by a data processing means 9 on the basis of the speed data V obtained from the position measuring means 1. K=2p-1×d/n is obtained, where P=1, is the case of pulses being outputted four times each one rotation of a drive shaft, and (n) is the number of pulses generated during travel at unit time T. The correction factor K is obtained each time the speed data is obtained, and the difference between the initialized correction factor K and the preceding correction factor Kn-1 obtained from the position measuring means 1 is added to obtain the present correction factor Kn. Kn=Kn-1+h(K-Kn-1) is thereby obtained, where (h) is a 0-1 constant. With this correction of the correction factor Kn, the generation of an error in the receiving point moving distance is prevented, and the burden of a user is reduced.
