Abstract:
To provide a distance detector with relaxed accuracy for actualizing an airtight structure.
Out of first and second casing parts 1a and 1b constituting a casing 1, the casing parts 1a and 1b are made of a non-transmissive material and a transmissive one, respectively. The casing parts 1a and 1b are joined together by means of all-around laser welding by thereto irradiating laser light from the casing part 1b side. This laser welding makes it possible to secure airtightness of the interior of the casing 1.
