Abstract:
To estimate the distance for which a mobile body moves, using an arbitrary feature.SOLUTION: The distance measuring device acquires the distances from mobile bodies at a first time and a second time to two features and acquires the distance between the two features, and calculates the distance between the two features. The distance measuring device thereafter calculates the distance for which the mobile body moves from the first time to the second time based on the result of acquisition, and calculates the distance for which the mobile body moves, using an arbitrary feature measured from the mobile body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
