The distillation apparatus has a distillation column body Tw, an internal partition wall 22, a first distilling part 25 to which a liquid raw material M is supplied and which is provided with an enriching section AR1 and a stripping section AR2, a second distilling part 26 provided with another enriching section AR3 and another stripping section AR4, a third distilling part 27 provided with another different enriching section AR5 and another different stripping section AR6, a condenser 81 connected to the top of the body Tw for condensing the vapor discharged from the top and a heat exchanging unit connected to the part 26 for withdrawing the liquid in the part 26 from the body Tw through a liquid withdrawing port 47, cooling the withdrawn liquid and then returning the cooled liquid to the body Tw through a liquid returning port 48. Since the returned liquid is refluxed to the enriching sections AR1 and AR5 of the parts 25 and 27 as reflux liquid, the amount of the liquid moving downward in the body Tw in the section AR3 of the part 26 can be made small.
