To provide a distiller which is equipped with an air-cooled condenser high in heat transfer efficiency and simple of constitution and capable of downsizing and weight reduction, at its head.
An air-cooled condenser 32 is made as follows. Heat conductive members in the shape of plural sheets of rectangular plates are arranged in parallel with each other, and out of gaps made between these heat transfer members, one or more are made airtight passages for process fluid, and also the remainders are made passages for air opened to air for cooling the process fluid, and a heat radiating member doubling as a spacer for retaining the interval between the heat transfer members is arranged in the passage for air, and these heat radiative members are fixed with a fixing member so as to make a condenser module 41 rectangular in general form, and a plurality of condenser modules 41 are arranged in vertical direction and/or in horizontal direction so as to complete an air-cooled condenser 32. This air-cooled condenser 32 is arranged on the head of a distiller 31.
