PURPOSE: To make the distortion compensation quantity close to an optimum value in the distortion elimination loop of a feedforward distortion compensation amplifier circuit used for a base station and a repeater and amplifying a multi- frequency signal in common.
CONSTITUTION: The frequency of a pilot signal injected in a distortion detection loop is set to a frequency within an operating band and a DSB signal generating circuit 21 provided newly applies DSB modulation to the signal and outputs the modulated signal. The DSB signal extracted from the output of the distortion detection loop is inputted to a DSB orthogonal detection circuit 22 and the AC amplitude of an orthogonal detection demodulation signal is inputted to a control circuit 14. The control circuit 14 gives a control signal minimizing the AC amplitude to a vector adjustment device 7.
